Welcome to "Newfoundland Catholics" Web site.

I have dedicated this web site to providing information on Roman Catholic History in Newfoundland.

I first came to Newfoundland in 1952 as a US Army officer assigned to Earnest Harmon Air Force Base in Stephenville.  It was there I met and married Mary Mackey, a nurse at the base clinic.  Mary and I were married in Carbonear 30 Dec 1954.

Mary is from Carbonear and I have provided a significant amount of this web site to the people and events of Carbonear. 

I hope you enjoy my web site and look forward to any comments or updates you might have.
